Riding Lessons $35 per hour, Groups of 2-4 riders $45 per hour, Private Often time beginners are given private lessons at the group rate. If you did not request a private lesson you may still be giving one, depending on what horses are available and what level you are at. There are some occasions that the instructor may require a student to take private lessons. Our groups are never bigger then four riders and more often then not there are only two riders to a group. We find it is beneficial for students to ride with others as people learn by watching and you will tend to challenge yourself more when you are in the company of others. We teach the basics of horsemanship from the ground up. We focus on students learning to be safe and comfortable around the horse as well as on the horse's back. All lessons include brushing, cleaning hooves, tacking up and leading the horse, which are all skills that every rider should have. We love to introduce new students to the trails, once we feel they have had enough time in the ring. We offer lessons April through November, weather permitting. We have a 100 X 200 outdoor riding arena with a sand and clay base footing. Lessons are available Monday through Saturday for ages 5 and up, please call for availability.
